Job Description
- Performs assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce FDA regulated devices in a controlled work environment.
- Learn and carry out detailed work instructions.
- Assemble components to include gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, welding using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses.
- Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions.
- Promote and support a safe working environment.
- Inform team lead/supervisor of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment, or processes.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
- Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment.
- Supports and promotes LEAN operations by following standard work to include Safety Observations, Idea Generation and Hour by Hour Board updates.
