Performs assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce FDA regulated devices in a controlled work environment.
Learn and carry out detailed work instructions.
Assemble components to include gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, welding using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses.
Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions.
Promote and support a safe working environment.
Inform team lead/supervisor of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment, or processes.
Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment.
Supports and promotes LEAN operations by following standard work to include Safety Observations, Idea Generation and Hour by Hour Board updates.
