We are looking for an experienced Linux Trainer to deliver high-quality training programs on Linux administration, shell scripting, and related technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.), system administration, networking, and security. The trainer will conduct both theoretical and practical sessions to help learners gain expertise in Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver Linux training programs for beginners to advanced learners.
  • Conduct hands-on labs and sessions on Linux administration, shell scripting, networking, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop training materials, presentations, and real-world case studies.
  • Guide learners on Linux installation, configuration, user management, file systems, process management, and system performance tuning.
  • Teach advanced topics like LVM, RAID, SELinux, firewalls (iptables), system monitoring, and log management.
  • Provide insights into Linux-based DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
  • Assess trainee progress and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest Linux trends, tools, and security best practices.
  • Offer corporate training sessions tailored to industry needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Linux administration, system engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, etc.).
  • Expertise in shell scripting (Bash, Python, or Perl).
  • Hands-on experience in user management, process management, networking, firewalls, and security hardening.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Prior experience in training, mentoring, or coaching Linux professionals is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Linux Certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, LFCS, LFCE, or CompTIA Linux+).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) on Linux.
  • Experience in corporate training and workshop facilitation.
