MDB Group is seeking to fill a Senior Logistics Acquisition Analyst position for our customer in Arlington, VA. We are a Small Business Administration-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in Lorton, Virginia. MDB Group provides Technical, Operational, Force Development, Financial, and Acquisition Consulting Services to the Department of Defense. We currently have team members supporting the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Programs (G-8) Force Development (FD) Directorates; the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology), and the Office of the Under Secretary of Defence for Intelligence & Security. We are honoured to have been awarded our third consecutive Army G8 Force Development contract.

Job Description:

• Job Title: Senior Logistics Acquisition Analyst
• Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA (100% onsite)
• Travel: Minimal.
• Security Clearance: Secret

Position Requirements:

• Requires operational maintenance/logistics experience in Army or Marine tactical units.
• Requires familiarity with Ordnance (maintenance) and Quartermaster (Supply) systems.
• Experience with military Mobile Maintenance Systems preferred

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide analysis and recommendations in support of validation, prioritization, and approval of future sustainment/maintenance systems requirements to include validation of Army JCIDS documents in support of the AROC or JROC process.
• Manage the Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) process associated with the Maintenance/Logistics associated capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Army Force Development/Force Management/Acquisition/PPBE/Requirements Development experience.
• Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) or equivalent level experience.
• Equipment Readiness experience at Battalion or equivalent level (Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force).
• Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred:

• 8 years of Department of Defence (DOD) Force Development experience.
• Experience with Pentagon/ DOD staff or acquisition assignments.
• Army Force Management School Courses: How The Army Runs (HTAR)/ FA50/ FA51/ SSO.
