12-month contract with opportunities for extension

Summary:
Perform complex assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual or automated tools
Use a computer in a production environment to access technical instructions, drawings, and specifications
Apply sealants per specifications and install various aircraft system components (e.g., panels)
Wear appropriate protective equipment for specific tasks
Operate various mechanical lifts (e.g., ladders, tiger, snorkel lifts)
Use tools such as rivet guns, screwdrivers, lock bolt pullers, power screwdrivers, ratchet wrenches, nut runners, and specialized hand tools
Handle chemical solvents, coatings, primers, adhesives, and special finishes
Inspect work quality for FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards
Use high-impact vibratory tools (e.g., bucking/riveting) and work with energized sources (e.g., electrical equipment)
Perform physical tasks (climbing, balancing, crouching, crawling, lifting 10-35 lbs) and adhere to safety standards in confined spaces with respirator use
Required Skills:
Regular, predictable attendance required
1+ years of experience with work instructions, blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English
Perform routine assembly operations on structural/mechanical assemblies and aircraft systems
7+ years of aviation experience required
Must complete New Hire Training Cycle Flow to obtain and maintain certifications
Ability to work in confined spaces and qualify to use a respirator
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and with high-hazard chemicals
Proficient with hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets) and high-impact vibratory tools (bucking/riveting)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, CAD/3D programs, and Internet Explorer
Able to perform bond and ground measurements, in-tank sealing, and fuel tank washing
Management seeking candidates with aviation experience or aviation degrees
