Job Description:
Join our client’s dedicated and dynamic team as a Production Logistics Coordinator where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of parts and materials throughout their manufacturing facility. This position calls for a highly organized and proactive individual who will ensure that all components reach their next phase of production on time, contributing directly to our commitment to exceptional manufacturing standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the movement of parts across various departments from Sheet Metal to Assembly ensuring adherence to production schedules.
  • Start daily activities with delivering parts to specified departments while managing associated paperwork meticulously.
  • Regularly collect and verify job orders on the production floor for accuracy.
  • Monitor the progress of parts throughout the day, ensuring timely completion in each department.
  • Upon achievement in detailing, expedite parts to subsequent areas such as oven prep and assembly.
  • Oversee and manage documentation discrepancies by coordinating with the Production Supervisor.
  • Document and respond to any quality discrepancies for immediate rectification.

 

Other Duties:

  • Locate and track missing parts as required.
  • Maintain records of parts movement especially urgent requests handled by other employees.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in the operation of a forklift with relevant certifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to focus on details and follow through with commitments.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

 

Communication Skills:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
  • Must be capable of reading, speaking, and writing English fluently.
