Job Description

***THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS IS HAVING SALESFORCE AND MULESOFT!!!  THEY USE MULESOFT FOR API INTEGRATION INTO SALESFORCE, SO THESE ARE REQUIRED ALONG WITH PYTHON AND JAVASCRIPT***

Software Development Lifecycle:
Engineering - writes the code.
DevOps - Helps engineering release and deploy the code, managing the repositories and release process, and all the build functionality.
Security - Integrated into that build functionality.

This role was created for assisting Harshini in deploying new security-related tools in cloud environments (Salesforce, GCP). They buy third-party tools, and she has to run the deployment. There will most likely be some scripting (Java / Python) or configuration needed. They will also be creating templates/automation to collect vulnerabilities to send to Splunk.

Applications security engineer within SalesForce, MuleSoft (API mesh for SalesForce) written in JavaScript and Python. They have two instances of SalesForce and all of their APIs are moving to MuleSoft.

Overview:
The Cloud Security team at Arvest is seeking a security analyst who will be responsible for deploying security solutions within cloud environments, with a specific focus on Salesforce, Azure and Mulesoft. This role will also involve analyzing data in SIEM tools like Splunk, developing programs that automate security detections from Splunk data.

Experience Required:
Proficient in using Python and JavaScript along with Apache Beam SDK to export data from cloud platforms like GCP, Mulesoft to SIEM tools. Deploying security solutions in the cloud platforms like Salesforce, Mulesoft etc., developing incident response playbooks, familiarity with network monitoring tools, strong understanding of security best practices and error handling.

Primary Responsibilities:
Experience with cloud platforms like Salesforce, Mulesoft, Ping cloud. Seamless export of security event data from multi-cloud environments to the downstream tools, design and develop programs for security event detections, incident response and remediation. Deploy CSPM and cloud platform encryption solutions in multi-cloud environments like GCP, Salesforce, Mulesoft etc.

What does Success look like:
• Partner with engineering teams to export multi-cloud security data to downstream tools like Splunk
• Write scripts and code to automate security incident detection and remediation using programming languages
• Create remediation plan for high severity cloud security incidents
• Integrate and enable third party security solutions in the cloud environment
• Partner with DevOps team to enable CI/CD security
• Assist to enable centralized network monitoring across multi-cloud environments

Day-to-day
• Consistently engage in communication with Salesforce, MuleSoft and relevant stakeholders to facilitate the described process
• Collaborate with InfoSec and event monitoring teams
• Work JIRA tickets in order of priority
• Tasks related to objectives listed above
• Attend meetings and stand-ups as needed
