• Safety-related experience Pharma experience is helpful, however will consider other sectors if relevant experience Must-Have:
• Minimum 5-7 years' experience in learning/training development and management role (Ex: Instructional Designer, Training Specialist/ Manager, Curriculum Designer/Developer/ Consultant)
• Ability to design and build safety training content
• Experience taking raw content from SMEs, utilizing Sanofi software, developing storyboards and computer-based modules • Experience with OSHA compliance training
• Need experience interacting with learning management systems and using learning/development software programs e.g. Rise/Articulate software, SCORM, AICC Format to develop computer-based training
• Should have experience creating content for adult learners using digital platforms Nice to Have:
• Previous pharma-related safety experience

JOB SUMMARY
Within the United States research and development (R&D) sites, instructor-led (ILT) and computer- based health, safety, and environment (HSE) learning (CBL) objectives are scheduled, delivered, and tracked through the Sanofi iLearn Learning Management System (LMS). The Sanofi HSENA. Training Manager is responsible for driving the design, development, and implementation of CBL and ILT programs across the United States in close partnership with site HSE leads and managing the transactional processes in iLearn according to Sanofi standard operating procedures. The HSENA Training Manager requires a full-time work commitment.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Become competent in iLearn essential functions:
• Assigning learning objects
• Recording completion of learning objects
• Developing performance/compliance reports
• Creating ILT events for staff to enroll in
• Becoming an iLearn Authorized Requester (AR)

Liaising with HSE site leads and SME’s to:
• Periodically complete training needs assessments
• Develop curricula based on site risks and compliance obligations
• Assign learning objects from regional catalog

Key Capabilities and Knowledge:
• Familiarity with HSE concepts and programs
• Experience with Learning Management System principles
• Design and development of CBT and ILT following adult learning principles
• Use of appropriate software programs (e.g., PowerPoint, Rise, Articulate and others)
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
• Prior experience working with learning management systems
• Familiar with adult learning and design concepts
• Previous use of content development software (e.g. Rise/Articulate 360, and similar equivalents
• 5-7 years’ experience in learning/training development and management
• B.A./B.S. from accredited higher learning institutions
• Previous experience developing safety related training topics (e.g. Hazard Communications, Ergonomics, Biosafety, Respiratory Protection) is highly desired
