​Position       : ERP Business Analyst

Location​      : 100% remote

Duration​     : 6 to 12  months

​Experience : 12+ Years required

 

Client is seeking a hands-on business analyst to join them as an ERP Business Analyst within their Information Technology team. Focus of the position includes partnering closely with the functional workstream leads, business analysis team, and technical leads on our multi-year enterprise-wide Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM implementation.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional with demonstrated Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM experience, a solid business acumen, and foundational technical (e.g. data integrations) understanding. This individual will influence without leaning on authority to drive business optimization in the Oracle Cloud platforms. Responsibilities:

·      Work closely with solution/technical architects to deliver business artifacts needed for end-to-end architecture and solution architecture approach deliverables

·      Collaborate with functional teams to determine and document high level business capability needs of the new application

·      Lead the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new applications

·      Translate high level business capabilities into clear and testable functional requirements and manage changes

·      Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between functional and IT teams from initial requirements to final implementation

·      Test business applications to ensure functionality meets the business requirements

·      Develop user acceptance test plans to validate the application functionality against detailed functional specifications, and review test results

·      Assist end user departments in the development of SOPs for revised business processes, as required

·      Train end user staff on new application processes and functionality, as required

·      Plan for system cutover including application migration, end user training, operational support planning, and other tasks and activities required to move an application system from the test environment into the production environment for "go-live"

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 16+ years of relevant business technology application experience OR Masters with 12+ years total experience
  • Minimum 6+ years’ experience as a business analyst or related position with relevant large-scale enterprise application experience
  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience working as a business analyst on Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM implementations required
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud – Projects Portfolio Management (PPM) required
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, Salesforce, or other related business Cloud applications preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of corporate CFO functional areas (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Procurement, etc.) and related business applications required
  • Demonstrated understanding of other corporate functional areas (e.g., Business Development, Contracts, HR, Legal, etc.) and related business applications preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Basic understanding of how to use Smartsheets and/or MSProject
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with functional counterparts to determine business requirements, define sound business processes, and test business applications to ensure functionality meets the business requirements
  • Previous experience with application training of users on new business processes
  • Understanding of project/program management concepts such as planning, scope, quality, time, cost and resource management, communication and status, risk management
  • Ability to balance collaboration and influence to lead without control
  • Ability to listen and communicate well both verbally and in writing
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, relationship building, negotiation, conflict resolution, verbal/written communication, partnership orientation, and problem-solving skills
