Job Title: Restaurant Franchise Director of Information Technology 
Location: Alpharetta, GA
This is a full-time, on-site, position with great benefits
 
Must have experience in the franchise food service industry, working at or near the director level.
 
You will be:
  • Determine business requirements for IT systems and manage all technology resources for the smooth restaurant operations of the day-to-day business
  • Strategic planning for the long-term support of the company’s growth
  • Research and make recommendations on hardware, software, and support services.  Negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Provides vision, planning and coordination of all hardware and software development and/or implementation activities.  Establishes standards in software development, integration and eliminating any security risks.
  • Manage Software Quality Assurance striving to achieve a high level of quality and independent verification of software reliability.
  • Leads the design, specification, configuration, installation, and maintenance of local area network hardware, software, telecommunications services and Internet service providers.
  • Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
  • Implement an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s data.
  • Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information. Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
  • Establish and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
  • Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, Technology, Operations, Training and Analytics.
  • Create, communicate, and manage detailed program and/or project plans that span across multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Oversee help desk support partners and/or resources.
  • Monitor system health/availability.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contractual requirements.
 
If you have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. (Is Plus )
  • Food service and franchising industry experience. (Is Must)
  • 5+ year of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects.
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles.
  • Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization.
  • Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Ability to monitor or assess the performance of yourself, other individuals, or the organization to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Experience managing network technologies
  • Understanding and proficiency of NCR Silver Pro (Aloha Cloud) point of sale and Olo digital ordering and guest loyalty systems.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Office 365 applications.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL and Power BI.
  • Experience executing rollouts of marketing or operational initiatives, products, and programs.
  • Experience overseeing and developing matrix project resources and teams.
