Duration: 6 Months

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Note:

• Interview - onsite interviews.
• This role will convert to FT after 6 months dependent on performance.

Job Descriptions:

Job Summary:

• Performs repetitive electromechanical assembly and complex electromechanical assembly, involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work.
• Must be able to work in a team environment that is very fast paced.

Responsibilities:

• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
• Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence.
• Assembles or tests electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
• Will assemble all variations of in-house standard products.
• Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, NEC, and UL codes/standards.
• Uses simple hand or power tools along with complex jigs and fixtures.
• Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP).
• Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
• Maintains equipment and area in an orderly and safe condition.
• Contributes to division results and performance.
• Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience.
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, ladder diagrams, and point to point drawings.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools.
• Top 3 skills - trouble shooting, electrical testing at least 6 months, some experience reading schematics (must have foundation of reading schematics).

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
• Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
• Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
• May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
• Work surfaces may include concrete.
• Employees must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
