Responsibilities

• Plan and implement new technologies for critical enterprise-wide IT cloud platform projects. Design, implement, and deploy cloud computing systems to support and meet business needs. Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.

• Provide technical support and ensure reliable operation of cloud production. Diagnose and solve the issues for cloud computing systems on multiple platforms. Maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.

• Develop technical standards. Test and evaluate IT vendor products. Review configuration parameters to optimize system performance and enhance operation uptime

• Elevate code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule. Provide follow up production support. Submit change control requests and documents.

• Learn and understand client area business functions and requirements. Figure out appropriate technical tool to address the client's business needs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues elevated from staff. Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department.

• Administer system activities. Write the technical portion of assigned deliverables. Perform systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition, and logical design.

• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

• Experience working with AWS technologies ECS, Docker, Fargate, EC2, Step functions, CloudWatch, etc.

• Experience with Security stacks such as IAM, Okta OIDC, Auth0, Secrets Manager, etc.

• Understands software engineering standard processes (e.g. CI\CD automated pipelines, Operational Excellence, Information Security IAM)

• Experience with application integration via APIs/REST, API Gateways

• Design and build cost-efficient cloud-native solutions for cross-functional, multi-platform internal and client facing applications

• Ability to decipher complex, ambiguous customer needs and translate into optimal feature delivery

• Thinks in terms of architecture as well as code. Able to develop and evaluate solutions for strengths and weaknesses (e.g., complexity, quality, scalability, latency, security, performance, data integrity, etc.).
