Position Title: Systems Engineer, Windows Server Operations
BASIC PURPOSE: 
The Systems Operations Engineer is primarily responsible for all aspects of administration, enhancement and problem resolution for the Enterprise’s Windows Server Operations in the Active Directory environment. The Systems Operations Engineer will focus on maintaining a highly available and secure environment through best practices, documentation, process improvement and continuous learning. Other responsibilities include identifying problems and errors, incident management, reporting, and project-based work. The successful candidate must be able to work in unsupervised situations, provide excellent customer service, be extremely detailed and highly motivated while working in a team-based environment. This particular role will be focused on integration efforts between *** and Client Vance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide support for a variety of technology areas, including Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, and VMware
• Administration and support for patch management, file/folder permissioning, SQL/windows clustering, SPN delegations, IIS.
• Provide support on the Server Operations Team Ticket Queue and manage cases in a timely manner
• Provide support to integration efforts in key areas, including NTFS permissions and management

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with application owners on application deployment and configuration
• Understanding of security, compliance and change management controls
• Participate in cross team projects
• Configuration, maintenance and automation of secure server operating systems and third-party application deployment
• Administration and upgrades relating to windows server technologies and Active Directory for multiple domains.
• Collaborate on performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning for servers and applications.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure teams for escalated issue resolution
• Ability to work as part of a team and with others in all levels of the organization

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Proven experience supporting a Microsoft Server enterprise environment
• Proven experience in Active Directory administration (with emphasis on Group Policy, User & Group Management)
• Proven ability to automate with Powershell and/or Ansible
• Experience with Varonis
• The candidate must demonstrate strong infrastructure technical qualities. Preferably in a global environment, ideally within the Finance or other regulated industry
• Good Interpersonal Skills; Communication, flexibility, self-driven, team player
• Strong verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with global teams and customers
