Growing Manufacturing company outside of Jackson, MS, is looking to add a Mainframe Programmer to their IT team! This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications that run on mainframe computer systems. Brand new IBM Z16 mainframe!! The Programmer will support their internal IT group such as payroll, marketing, HR, product tracking, manufacturing, etc. 
 
This role requires a deep understanding of mainframe technologies, programming languages, and the ability to collaborate with other team members to ensure the efficient operations of mainframe-based applications. 
 
Experience on either VSE or MVS platform, as well as in COBOL, JCL, CICS, PL/1 and other mainframe technologies is required.
