Position Overview

As part of the expansion of our cosmetovigilance activities, we are looking for two experienced Cosmetovigilance Case Specialists. You play a critical role in ensuring the compliant and efficient management of adverse event reports related to cosmetic products. Leveraging your scientific and regulatory expertise, you will oversee the full lifecycle of vigilance cases—from intake and assessment to documentation and submission—ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and internal quality standards.

 

Responsibilities

1. Case Processing & Evaluation

  • Perform end-to-end processing of cosmetovigilance cases, including:
    • Accurate data entry and coding using MedDRA, WHO-ART, or other relevant dictionaries.
    • Assessment of seriousness, expectedness, and causality of reported adverse effects.
    • Identification of missing information and initiation of follow-up queries with reporters or clients.
    • Validation of case documentation and support for timely submissions to competent authorities.
2. Medical Review & Quality Oversight (Level II)
  • Conduct medical review of complex or serious cases, ensuring:
    • Responsible for the Quality Control (QC) of CV cases
    • Data entry of CV cases in ad hoc databases or in formats defined with the client.
    • Clinical relevance and regulatory accuracy of case narratives.
    • Consistency in causality assessment and seriousness classification.
    • Identification of trends or signals requiring escalation.
    • Technical support to clients and internal stakeholders on case-related matters.
3. Client Interaction & Process Support
  • Act as a point of contact for client-specific cosmetovigilance activities.
  • Contribute to the drafting and maintenance of safety management plans, technical agreements, and SOPs.
  • Participate in the onboarding of new clients and continuous improvement of internal processes.
4. Training & Knowledge Sharing
  • Support the training of new team members on cosmetovigilance processes and tools.
  • Share best practices and contribute to internal knowledge development.
5. Coordination & Communication
  • Collaborate with case coordinators to ensure timely processing of urgent cases.
  • Communicate proactively with internal teams to meet regulatory deadlines and client expectations.

 

Profile
  • Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related field.
  • Prior experience in cosmetovigilance, pharmacovigilance, or medical information is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and relevant vigilance guidelines.
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Expertise in database (preference for Safety Easy)
