Position Title: Electrical Engineer

We are proud to represent our client in the Marine industry on its search for an Electrical Engineer, a newly created position due to company growth. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the planning and design of marine fire detection systems.

Responsibilities
 
  • Review client documentation to develop and implement design schedule for each project
  • Ensure all regulatory and classification material certificates are received and correct
  • Produce sketches, schematics, preliminary layouts, system function, and connection details
  • Ensure production team has necessary drawings and provide technical guidance
  • Prepare date sheets and purchase requisitions
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; equivalent professional experience will be considered in leu of degree
  • Good working knowledge of planning, scheduling, and monitoring project tasks
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under deadlines
  • Effective budget and cost control management skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCad
