Senior Oracle DBA & Developer (Remote Contract Position)

12+ months extendable remote contract

Only USC or GC (No H1B’s or other EAD’s)

Skills/Experience needed:

• 10+ years of expert level experience as Oracle DBA & Database programmer
• MUST have experience with Oracle Fleet Management module to deploy automated patching
• MUST be expert with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) & Database Lifecycle Management (DBLM)
• MUST be Expert in Scripting (shell, Perl, emcli) & SQL structured query language
• Experience as Oracle DBA managing Oracle database versions 12c and 19c
• Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Experience with Manual database patching and database upgrades
• Installing Oracle release updates (RU) security patches on data guard, multitenant, stand alone and Real Application Cluster (RAC) databases
• Database performance management
• Database hardware configuration
• Linux / UNIX operating systems (RedHat and AIX)
• Technical project management, technical leadership, and strong communication skills to work with DBAs and application teams in a variety of situations.
• Providing on the job training and developing learning materials for DBAs
• Technical problem-solving skills
• Cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
• Provide 3rd and 4th level Oracle database support for complex issues.
