  • Excel MACROS

  • Project management

 

Responsibilities and Requirements:

 

Process Engineer Technician I

 

The essential functions of the position includes:

 

  • The safety and health of employees take precedence over all duties of this job

  • Monitors cycle times and adjusts as needed. Maintain accuracy of processes during production.

  • Proficiency on Microsoft Office (Excel, Power point, Word)

  • Modify processes as required for product orders

  • Correct errors and work with operators to constantly improve process clarification and effectiveness.

  • Conduct mechanical tasks such as process monitoring, sampling and testing, preparing and isolating equipment for maintenance

  • Provide technical support to shift for trouble shooting and problem resolution

  • Ensure equipment and processes meet and sustain standard production outputs

  • Monitors operations process, work, and material flow to ensure quality and customer specs are met.

  • Assists maintenance with preventative maintenance projects.

  • Back-up on running presses during breaks, etc. and also back up to shift supervisor.

  • Conducts test and trial runs as needed.

  • Assists in mold changes and repairs as needed to optimize the molding process

  • Maintains cleanliness of work area

  • Training of Production Supervisors and other Process Technicians

  • Performs all duties in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of quality and safety

 

Process Engineer Technician II

 

Process Engineer Technician II must meet all the requirements for Process Engineer Technician I plus the bullet points below:

 

  • Provide repair and replacement of electrical and/or pneumatic instrumentation and control systems

  • Maintain and improve upon existing manufacturing practices for the manufacture of finished goods.

  • Capable to create data base and manipulate charts,

  • Creating and understanding Pareto charts

  • Understanding and developing projects to improve PPK’s throughout the plant

  • Proficient on quality equipment calibration

  • Knowledgeable on Thermoforming process (how to set up equipment, knowledge on mechanical components, electrical components, pneumatics)

  • Be able to create, develop and maintain recipes on Thermoforming

  • Knowledgeable on Extrusion process (how to set up equipment, knowledge on mechanical components, electrical components, pneumatics)

  • Be able to create, develop and maintain recipes on Extrusion

  • Capable to detect deficiencies and implement process-countermeasures to solve problems

  • Proficient on Infinity data base, Agile, Vorne, OEE studio

 

Process Engineer Technician III

 

  • Lead an SPS team

  • Be able to develop blue belt project

  • Proficient with 3d design software (AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, INVENTOR)

  • Capable to handle projects (upgrading equipment, managing contractors)

  • Create and run CAA capital projects

  • Propose and implement continuous improvement projects on the production floor

  • Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner

  • Responsible for implementing visual controls and standard work in department

  • Work with the plant and management to improve safety initiatives
