Skills and Responsibilities:
• Production environment of Oracle DB and MySQL, SQL Server administration understanding
• Demonstrable experience managing technical teams.
• Understanding of Operational Acceptance, Disaster Recovery, and High Availability (HA) in a Production environment.
• Understanding of Change Management, Incident Management and Release and Configuration management processes.
• Infrastructure services delivery using offshore/onshore capabilities; an understanding of the complexities of working with teams.
• Ensures availability, security and integrity of assigned databases. Resolves database performance, capacity, replication, and other distributed data issues.
• Install, patch and maintain all Oracle software. Installs and configures database management software (DBMS) including RAC and Data Guard and applicable service packs and/or patches.
• Develops and implements database maintenance plans, including performing integrity checks, updating statistics and monitoring security and hardware resource utilization.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle RAC
• Experience on MS SQL Server Administration is an added advantage.
• Candidate should be able to support Oracle database single handed and flexible for 24*7 Candidate should have hands on in Oracle security, patching, replication, always on, log shipping etc.
• Hands on experience in Prformance Tuning Exposure of user management and handling/troubleshooting of operation activities Proficient in backup and recovery methods on LUW environment
