Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in the Investment Management industry with prior experience implementing performance and attribution systems.

Location

  • San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)

Visa Status:

  • US Citizens/GC/EAD
  • H1B sponsorship available

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Business Analyst responsible for gathering performance measurement and attribution reporting requirements
  • Perform Requirements Gathering, Data Analysis, Testing co-ordination, Current State assessment, and Target State Definition
  • Provide support to BAU issues in the Performance and Attribution Domain
  • Act as a project manager for small projects that do not have a dedicated project manager

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Investment Management or Investment Services organization or Hedge Fund working on Performance and Attribution projects.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in SQL
  • Good understanding of Investment Performance methodologies (i.e. TWRR, IRR, Attribution etc)
  • Exposure to Private Equity/ Private Assets from a performance measurement standpoint
  • Good understanding of GIPS and blended benchmarks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of Eagle Performance and hands on implementation/configuration experience of Eagle PACE
  • Good understanding of Data Management from an Eagle performance perspective (i.e. PACE tables)
  • MBA degree or CFA qualification
  • CFA CIPM(Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement) certification
  • Experience in one or more technology vendor packages used in the Investment Management industry – Eagle STAR/PACE, CRD, Bloomberg AIM, Blackrock Aladdin, SimCorp, Portia
