Roles and Responsibilities:

• Follow schedule for each production day in the prepress department.
• Set up prepress files for digital and offset presses.
• Thoroughly reviews each Job Ticket for every order.
• Work with Customer Service and Production to ensure timely and correct completion of orders and asks questions, if necessary, to ensure the final product is accurate.
• Typeset orders for printing purposes utilizing Adobe Creative Suite if required.
• Analyze customer-supplied files for correct format, colors, and resolution.
• Proof and review completed work and customer-supplied artwork for 100% accuracy of brand guidelines.
• Troubleshoot problems that arise in the department.
• Can meet production timelines.
• Set up and operate platemaker equipment for the daily output of press plates, ensuring quality output standards.
