MDB Group is seeking to fill an Acquisition and Programming Analyst (FDP) position for our customer in Arlington, VA. We are a Small Business Administration certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) located in Lorton, Virginia. MDB Group provides  Technical, Operational, Force Development, Financial, and Acquisition Consulting Services to the Department of Defense. We currently have team members supporting the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Programs (G-8) Force Development (FD) Directorates; the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology), and the Office of the Under Secretary of Defence for Intelligence & Security. We are honoured to have been awarded our third consecutive Army G8 Force Development contract. 

Full Job Description:

• Job Title:  Acquisition and Programming Analyst (FDP)  
• Job Location: On-site, Pentagon
• Security Clearance: Secret

Position Requirements:

• Requires familiarity with acquisition and programming, to include budget exhibits.
• Requires superior Microsoft Excel skills to manipulate large amounts of data.

Responsibilities:

• Track equipment from programming to budget to procurement to delivery and receipt at the unit level.
• Reconcile differences between expected fielding and recorded equipment deliveries, track equipment requirements, acquisition, and deliveries.
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, documenting and reporting financial and equipment procurement data, including an assessment of how current year funding changes impact the Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve equipment projections.

Minimum Qualifications:

• DoD Army Force Development/Force Management experience. 
• HQDA or equivalent level experience (Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force).
• Army Force Management School Courses such as How The Army Runs (HTAR) or any such courses.
• Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred:

• 4 years of DOD Force Development experience.
• Experience on Pentagon/DOD staff or acquisition assignments
