We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a focus on Infrastructure and Public Works in Corpus Christi to contribute to the development of cutting-edge infrastructure design services throughout the Coastal Bend area. In this key role, you will oversee all aspects of public and private projects, lead and develop staff, and play a pivotal role in relationship-building with clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Take charge of the development of infrastructure design services across the Coastal Bend area.
  • Manage all aspects of public and private infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Lead and actively engage in relationship building with prospective clients, demonstrating a commitment to understanding their needs.
  • Oversee the review and sealing of infrastructure projects, providing guidance to a team of engineers.
  • Take responsibility for invoicing, project management, and monitoring the financial performance of project budgets.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with technical and political leaders of local government agencies in the region, including potential municipal and county clientele.
  • Lead and develop infrastructure staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Write and negotiate proposals with clients, showcasing your business development skills.
Requirements:
  • Possess a working knowledge of the Coastal Bend area
  • Experience in managing projects with designers and project personnel.
  • Experience in client relations, budgets, invoicing, and scheduling design.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and HEC-RAS software.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid Licensed Professional Engineering (P.E.) certification in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of 1-5 years of combined city and county local design and management experience.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
