Job Title: Delivery Manager
Location Address: Hybrid - Downtown, Toronto
Contract Duration: 6 months
 
The client is looking for an experienced Delivery Lead/Delivery Manager/Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies and software development processes.
 
Project Type:
  • The project involves software development, likely within a banking or financial services environment.
  • The emphasis is on Agile methodologies, with a focus on Scrum and Kanban.
 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 10+ years of combined experience in delivery management or senior project management, with at least 5 years in Scrum-based environments.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Agile environments, including common development practices.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience leading release management activities.
  • Proficiency in backlog tracking, Scrum, and Kanban metrics.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to guide and coach teams, facilitate discussions, and resolve conflicts.
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating project risks using Agile best practices.
 
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience in a Delivery Lead role within a bank's digital environment.
  • Experience as a Program Manager working with multiple complex initiatives, particularly within banking.
  • Working experience with JIRA/Confluence.
  • Experience in system design and creating pragmatic solutions to technical problems.
