JOB TITLE: Aircraft Electrical Installation - Entry Level - Free Housing Support

LOCATION: North Charleston, SC

PAY RATE: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

• 12-month contract with opportunities for extension

Summary:

• Performs routine production assembly on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, and accessories. Tasks include:

• Building connectors, splicing wires, crimping, and terminating wires

• Installing connectors to receptacles and electronic components

• Performing repairs and rework based on engineering instructions

• Fiber optic cleaning, inspection, light loss testing, and installation

• Bond & Ground tasks including CRNs, jumpers, ground stud installation, and resistance testing

• Verifying installations and ensuring First Pass Quality (FPQ) per engineering specifications

• Ensuring FAA compliance with Quality Management System

• Routing wire harnesses to supports per blueprint specifications for the 787 program

Required Skills:

• 1+ years of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints/specifications

• Ability to work variable shifts

• Minimum 1 year of relevant electrical manufacturing and/or aviation experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Strong communication skills, work ethic, and sense of urgency

• Experience in wire routing, dressing, hook-ups, resistance/continuity checks, and basic wire repair
