Role: Mainframe Developer (W2 Position)

Location: Helena, MT (Need Locals)

Duration: 6+ Months

Looking for 7+ Years of Mainframe developer.
Analyze, Design, Develop, Test, and Document and maintain Mainframe COBOL, DB2, CICS and Assembler Technologies
Develop Jobs - JCLs, PROCs and SYSIN Control Cards for DB2 Data Unload/ Load.
Debug the Mainframe Code using tool to understand the flow for complicated programs.
Perform Mainframe Code promotions from development system to UAT and production system
Develop and Debug CICS online transactions in COBOL II that access DB2 and VSAM databases.
Schedule Mainframe JCLs using CAZ Scheduler, set the dependencies and make sure to run them to success.
Performance Tuning the Long Running Application Code that involves complicated SQLs on DB2 and processes large volume of data.
Run one time On-Request reports for Users to verify data post implementation.
