Job Title: Mid-Level Windows System Administrator

Location: Hyderabad (Remote with occasional on-site work)

Job Overview:

We are hiring a Mid-Level Windows System Administrator to work closely with the senior admin to manage day-to-day operations for over 350 servers. You will be responsible for server monitoring, patch management, server builds, and troubleshooting. The role also involves working on server migrations and decommissioning projects, along with the configuration of software like anti-virus and security agents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of 350+ Windows servers under the guidance of the senior administrator.
• Implement and manage automated patching solutions (Arc) to ensure servers are up-to-date and secure.
• Conduct server builds, ensuring that all new servers meet client specifications.
• Perform server migrations (file servers, permissions, shares), and assist in server decommissioning.
• Monitor server performance using monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds) and troubleshoot incidents as they arise.
• Collaborate with the backup administrator to ensure that all backups are monitored and successful.
• Support SOX compliance by assisting with security documentation and reporting.

Required Skills:

• 7-10 years of experience with Windows Server Administration (2016/2019/2022).
• Strong understanding of patch management systems and troubleshooting patch-related issues.
• Experience with server monitoring and incident management.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and file server migrations.
• Knowledge of backup administration (Veeam, Commvault) and basic disaster recovery.
• Good understanding of server decommissioning processes and security best practices.

Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server (Preferred)
• CompTIA Network+ (Preferred)
• ITIL v4 Foundation (Preferred)
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Certification (Optional)
