Senior AI Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and drive the implementation and optimization of artificial intelligence solutions within our organization. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining collaborative in-person engagement three days per week at our New Brunswick location.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client interactions and serve as the primary point of contact for AI project initiatives
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior leadership and clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships across cross-functional teams
• Conduct comprehensive data and content analysis to support AI model development and implementation
• Perform detailed analysis of AI system outputs, performance metrics, and business impact
• Evaluate data quality, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights
• Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Design and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) protocols for GenAI applications
• Develop test cases and validation frameworks for AI model performance
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve system issues
• Document testing procedures and maintain quality assurance standards
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for AI enhancement
• Create detailed business requirements documents and functional specifications
• Map process workflows and recommend AI-driven improvements
• Support change management initiatives related to AI implementation
• Prepare comprehensive analysis reports and executive summaries
• Maintain project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer
• Create user guides and training materials for AI systems
• Develop dashboards and metrics for ongoing performance monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with AI/ML projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Python/R preferred)
• Proven track record in User Acceptance Testing and quality assurance
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder communications
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and generative AI technologies
• Strong project management capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a hybrid environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Life Sciences Industry Experience: Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, or healthcare sectors
• Contracts Experience: Understanding of contract management, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Data Science, or related field)
• Experience with specific AI platforms (OpenAI, Google AI, Azure AI, etc.)
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FDA, GxP, HIPAA, etc.)
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (PMP, Agile)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Background in process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software
• Understanding of AI/ML model validation and testing methodologies
• Experience with database querying and data manipulation
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and AI services
• Knowledge of API testing and integration validation
