Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
Ability to acquire and verify highly technical subject matter content by interviewing engineers and other technical experts
Observing production methods or other demonstrations, and reviewing technical specifications, modification kits, blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings, notes, manuals, and similar publications.
Ability to manage project technical writing work from book plan/outline creation through on-time delivery.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Demonstrate ability and experience in working effectively with teams, including virtual teams, but also independently or with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate ability and experience in meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Demonstrate experience in using and applying clear and concise language that adheres to customer established standards and conventions.
Ability to write highly technical content for procedure manuals, service manuals, and related technical publications that describes the installation, operation
Highly proficient in XML authoring.
Experience with military weapons systems or other highly complex technical systems.
