A client has a need for a ServiceNow developer at the senior level. Must have expertise with customization development, advance customizations, modules, HAM, SAM, Facilities, etc.  Will be a 6 month+ contract, ideal candidates will have excellent communication and be proactive.  Any successful TEK formers?

The client is in the process of implementing and integrating ServiceNow and requires a consultant to assist in this process. The organization is seeking to turn on numerous features and modules including Incident, change, knowledge, request, time management, Project Portfolio, CNS, CMDB, HR, and Facilities. The platform demand has steadily increased for the use of ServiceNow both in the IT group and throughout the business. The organization is seeking a consultant to assist in the implementation and expansion of this tool across the enterprise. The consultant needs to be proficient in Jelly and have deep understanding of the features, modules and platforms of ServiceNow. They need to be able to create catalogs, workflows and turn and enhance features within the tool.

 

 this position you will develop and customize our ServiceNow platform. If you can configure and administer ServiceNow, that will be a plus. Healthcare Client uses ServiceNow as its primary IT Service Management (ITSM) platform and ITIL v3 as its model for ITSM practices. You’ll will help people across the company as IT products and services are ordered, tracked, and supported. You will implement practices by developing or customizing applications, processes, and workflows on the ServiceNow platform. You’ll be a part of the full SDLC and, when needed, help improve it.

• Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including creation and modification of applications, forms, workflow, interfaces and any other customization required
• Assist in the implementation and customization of ServiceNow modules and features (e.g., CMDB, Knowledge, Discovery, Orchestration)
• Execute and refine the software development lifecycle of ServiceNow applications and modifications
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other information systems
• Build and execute test procedures and scripts, and participate in associated testing (verification and validation) activities
• Contribute to strategic and tactical planning activities regarding ServiceNow
• Troubleshoot ServiceNow problems, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis
• Communicate with managers, end users, and process owners frequently to establish requirements and guide development

 

The ServiceNow Developer Senior works with peer developers, system administrators, architects and the user community at an expert level. Develops applications, forms, which include advanced development requiring client and server-side scripting. Creates and trouble shoots forms, workflows, interfaces, business rules, User Interface (UI) Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. Prepares and maintains technical specifications and knowledge articles. Participates in user acceptance testing as well as Scrum meetings. Follows, maintains and applies documentation best practice policies, procedures, and process through ServiceNow development. Performs other duties as needed.
