Overview:
Brillio, in collaboration with Microsoft, is seeking a hands-on Data Science Lead to lead the deployment and scaling of Large Language Models (LLMs) in enterprise environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in Generative AI, strong coding and architectural skills, and the ability to lead teams and communicate business impact. Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering AI-powered solutions from concept to production.

Position:
Lead Data Scientist – Generative AI & LLMs

Responsibilities:

• Lead LLM-focused projects from Proof-of-Concept to production deployment

• Use Azure AI services for robust, scalable model deployment

• Design and optimize prompt engineering techniques for quality and performance

• Integrate LLMs with Databricks-based data pipelines

• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using structured/unstructured data

• Fine-tune pre-trained models for domain-specific use cases

• Ensure best practices in AI/ML Ops, governance, and monitoring

• Architect full-scale production AI systems with code scalability in mind

• Mentor junior data scientists and drive a high-performance team culture

• Translate complex AI solutions into business impact and actionable insights

Requirement Qualifications:

• 12–15 years of data science experience (not exceeding 15)

• Proven hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT) and Generative AI

• Advanced Python and PySpark coding skills

• Proficient in SQL and large dataset handling

• Architectural experience in designing scalable AI/ML systems

• Deep knowledge of Azure AI services, Databricks, MLOps practices

• Strong understanding of statistical models, forecasting, classification, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

• Familiarity with Kubeflow, Azure ML Studio, BentoML, Great Expectations, and Evidently AI

• Skilled in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG techniques

• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate with executive stakeholders
