PG Job Requisition - 458 - Power BI Developer // Hybrid
PowerBI Developer // Hybrid
Responsibilities:
• Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor those.
• Analyzing data and present data through reports that aid decision-making.
• Understanding of gateways and creating them if needed.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish.
• Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models.
• Chart creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relations.
• Hands on experience with Power BI large datasets.
• Hands on experience in creation of dataflows/datasets and management of their performance.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI reports using deployment pipelines.
• Hands on experience on DAX studio, Tabular Editor 2, or Tabular Editor 3 and SSMS to monitor performance, manage partitions and create calculation groups.
• Hands on experience on Power BI report builder to develop tabular reports with complex calculations and parameter.
• Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
• Analyze current ETL process, define and design new systems.
• Redefine and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems.
• Create customize charts and custom calculations as per requirements.
• Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions as per needs.
• Strong SQL querying skills for best results, use of filters and graphs for better understanding of data.
• Identifying opportunities for process refinement or recreation and supporting effective brainstorming while functioning as a creative problem solver.
• Supporting the development, testing and implementation of new technologies and enhancements while also considering the impact on existing systems to provide a cohesive end-user experience.
• Work with users and team members at all levels for performance improvement and suggestions.
