Job Title:                    Electrical Engineer
Location:                    Abuja, Nigeria
Annual Salary:          (Final salary will be based on our client’s pay structure, the candidate's qualification, and relevant experience.)

 

Summary

The Electrical Engineer will oversee the design and maintenance of Autogas refueling station electrical systems, ensuring compliance and integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for Autogas refueling stations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and automation components
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for electrical system implementation and installation.
  • Contribute to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient electrical solutions for the proposed auto-gas stations.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems with the overall refueling station infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to electrical designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems
  • Provide technical expertise and support during the construction, commissioning, and operation phases of the refueling stations.

Educational Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Certification in PMP is an added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in electrical system design and implementation, preferably in the energy or transportation sector.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD software for electrical design and layout.
  • Experience with power distribution, control systems, and automation.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems and their integration into electrical designs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative and innovative mindset.
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and smart grid technologies.
  • Knowledge of energy storage systems and their application within the framework of refueling stations.
  • Familiarity with environmental and sustainability standards related to electrical system design and operation.
  • Experience in the commissioning and startup of electrical systems in large-scale industrial or energy projects.
