Position: Routing and Switching Engineer

Job Description:

Required talent should focus on R&S migration experience with Touching live systems , performing Updates/migrate to new systems/OS for which Hands on exp is needed

Also focus on evaluating the talent on – BGP, OSPF, ISIS, IP/MPLS use in N/W site and the troubleshooting with design exp. and solutioning in instances of failures

EDUCATION & ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
Typically requires BSc Computer Science or equivalent plus 5-8 years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree strongly preferred.
Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE etc.) would be highly desirable.

REQUIRED SKILLS (SDA)
• Experience with product lines like Catalyst 9000/3850/6800. Engineer must be experienced in and have internal product and/or Architecture knowledge.
• Working knowledge and experience on LISP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, Multicast, vrf-lite, VXLAN, CTS, dot1x, spanning tree
• Knowledge on any industry SDN solution
• A good communications skill is a must. Must have a demonstrated ability to relate to customer representatives at various levels.
• Must have good technical writing skills and have experience in writing test and implementation / Migration plans.
• Skills and experience in working independently.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork needed

DESIRED SKILLS (SDA)

• Hands on experience on DNAC is highly desirable
• Experience on Nexus 7K
• Working knowledge and experience on LISP, ISIS, CTS
• Knowledge of basic network security concepts.
• Basic understanding of Python, Working knowledge of Cisco SDA solution is desirable.
