Job Description:

Our esteemed financial services client is seeking a confident ALM/QC Lead Support Engineer to orchestrate the management and strategic support for ALM tool-related functions. The role centers on elevating efficiency and fostering a user-focused technological environment within a culture that prioritizes continuous growth, clear communication, and collaborative success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and customize QC server licenses, establish user access, and configure projects.
  • Deliver exceptional training and support for tool users, facilitating ease of use and integration.
  • Act as a first responder for tool-related queries, offering timely resolutions and innovations.
  • Conduct thorough monitoring and proactive maintenance to support cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Micro Focus ALM/QC/Octane Administration, including installation, upgrades, and patch implementation.
  • Expertise in customizing tools for optimal workflow, including scripting and automation.
  • Adept at SQL querying for intricate data handling, reporting, and ALM project customization.
  • Experienced in managing cross-project templates and integration with various tools.

Job Insights:

  • Strong experience in license management, ALM tool setup, and user creation is a must.
  • Hands-on skills with VB scripting and Microfocus QC/ALM OTA API, essential for innovation and efficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL queries, dashboard configuration, and project migration strategies.
