Duration: Open-ended 

Work Schedule: Hybrid, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM


Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Serves as a lead epidemiological data expert for the Office of Vital Statistics (OVS) ensuring complex epidemiological analyses.
  • This position is responsible for the coordination, evaluation, integrity, collection, and oversight of data quality.
  • Data collected under this position's purview is in support of the Kentucky unique portal as the source to collect birth, death, marriage, divorce, stillbirth, and health data impacting multiple complex state and federal programs that require accurate, consistent, and timely data.
  • Assumes major program responsibility for unique, complex planning efforts related to data governance, memorandums of understanding (MOU), programmatic or policy questions, and agency strategic planning. Ensures coordination of work of other epidemiologic staff, and programs.
