Job Description:
The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end design development and execution of HVAC Automation projects, encompassing:
Responsibilities:
Supporting Account Managers in Project Estimating, scope development, and basic design for turnkey projects.
Formulating Sub-Contractor scope of work and associated documentation.
Assisting in overseeing the development of Hardware and Software Design Submittals, Installation drawings, Sequence of Operations, and Commissioning and/or Validation Documentation.
Participating in Pre-construction meetings, both internal and external, mobilization, interacting with contractors as needed, and managing job scheduling.
Overseeing contracts and sub-contracts.
Accountable for all Project-Related and Customer-Required Documentation, including, at a minimum, Submittals, RFI’s, Schedule, Safety Compliance, Commissioning, and/or Validation.
Ensure the As-Built documentation is consistently updated throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate the final Turnover Package to the Owner, encompassing Design documentation, System Backup, Recovery, General Use Training, and Warranty, as well as turnover to the Service Department.
Responsible for Monthly Invoicing and Project Forecasting.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Project Management within mechanical, electrical, BAS, or general contracting is mandatory.
Strong computer skills are essential.
Experience in HVAC and Mechanical System Checkout, Startup, and System Commissioning is required.
The ability to interpret design documentation is also necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required, including familiarity with MS Project (considered a plus).
An understanding of Software configuration and programming for BMS and SCADA PLC systems is advantageous.
Experience with Time Card software, SAP-type Project tracking software, Microsoft Dynamics, etc., is a plus.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial.
A valid driver’s license from the State of Florida is a prerequisite.
The ability to pass a background check is required.
