Full Job Description:
- Job Title: Satellite Communications/Mission Command - Senior Military Analyst
- Job Location: On-site, Pentagon
- Security Clearance: Secret
Position Description:
- Requires operational experience in Army tactical units that employ Battle Command Transport Applications and have an understanding of tactics, techniques and procedures associated with Army command, control, and communications systems. Communications/Mission Command experience.
- Requires expertise in FDC-specific programs, ideally in COMSEC Modernization, network transport, Satellite Database Operations, Common Operating Environment and integration, Integrated Personnel and Pay system, Home Station Mission Command Centers, Cyber Operations an Global Force Management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide analysis and recommendations in support of validation, prioritization, and approval of future requirements to validate Army JCIDS documents in support of the AROC or JROC process.
- Manage the Army FDC programming and budgeting process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- DoD Army Force Development/Force Management experience.
- HQDA or equivalent level experience (Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force).
- Army Force Management School Courses such as How The Army Runs (HTAR) or Any such courses.
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred:
- 8 years of DOD Force Development experience.
- Experience with Pentagon/DOD staff or acquisition assignments.
- Satellite Communications (SATCOM) experience desired.
